The move comes just months after the automotive parts retailer announced it was closing more than 700 locations in a strategic optimization plan. Despite swirling economic uncertainty—and tariffs that could hit the auto parts industry particularly hard—one large auto parts retailer is gearing up for expansion. Advance Auto Parts is going to open 30 new locations across the United States by the end of 2025, and aims to open “at least an additional 100 new locations through 2027,” according to a company announcement released on Tuesday.
