BearishBullish

80% Confidence

Bullish Case: Known: Helium AI shows +4.07% bias; call volume > put volume (+19%) and risk is 52% more bullish than bearish. Inferred from the KB IV surface: put-skew/backwardation suggests hedging premium, not immediate panic. KB return-surface likelihood clusters around modest positives, and SPY IV looks “controlled” (no broad panic dome). Prior +grind calls were only partially right since KB is flat; still consistent with gradual upside if skew cools.

Bearish Case: Known: KB IV surface has extreme downside tail (deep OTM put IV spikes into hundreds), and SPY shows downside demand (higher IV at lower strikes). Inferred: heavy put-IV elevation can reprice downward quickly if late-July macro/Fed messaging or KB-specific asset-quality fears emerge (uncertain which). KB return-surface also shows non-trivial negative pockets. My earlier crash timing looked late (KB not down), but the tail wasn’t removed—just delayed.

Potential Outcomes:
  1. 40%: +3–8% (2–6w) if SPY higher-strike IV stays “blue” and KB 90P/120C IV ratio falls (skew cooling).
  2. 18%: +10–18% if price drifts into KB likelihood band (+15–45%) with call IV compression (vol down, spot up).
  3. 20%: −2–+3% if realized vol matches the surface (no repricing).
  4. 15%: −8–12% if SPY downside strikes brighten and KB put-skew re-steepens.
  5. 7%: −20–30% if break under ~$98–100 while deep put IV stays >150% (hedging cascade).
