Some people change in the course of time, some maintain their views. Among those who changed are Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Yuli Edelstein, former speaker of the Knesset and the current chair of the Knesset Defense and Foreign Affairs Committee. Edelstein was long regarded as a statesman and a man of conscience.
